  • Centering: Border balance on both the front and the back.
  • Corners: Sharpness, fraying or whitening on all four corners.
  • Edges: Whitening, nicks or chipping along every side.
  • Surface / print quality: Gloss, scratches, print lines, dimples, staining and creases.
  • Overall eye appeal: How the card presents once the areas above are weighed together.

PSA authenticates a card first, then assigns a grade. These photos help you judge condition yourself — Kevin cannot assign an official PSA grade from photos, and the final grade is PSA's judgment.

  2. Pull the last 5 raw sales for your condition — that's your raw value.
  3. Repeat filtered to "PSA 9" and "PSA 10" for slab values.
  4. Subtract ~13% marketplace fees plus shipping from every sale price before entering it.
  5. Be brutal on the PSA 10 chance — most raw NM cards land closer to 25–40%.
